Medical & orthopedic massage in Flower Mound & Colleyville, TX
We fix pain — and help you keep it gone. This is the session that slogan comes from: assessment-led bodywork aimed at the cause of pain, not just the spot that hurts.

Bodywork with clinical intent
Medical massage is what happens when a session starts with a question — what exactly is wrong, and what would better look like? — instead of a menu choice. Your therapist assesses how you move, finds the patterns feeding the pain, and works with a plan: orthopedic techniques for joints and their support structures, trigger point release for the knots that refer pain somewhere else, and myoskeletal alignment principles for the posture habits underneath it all.
It's the session we recommend for pain that has overstayed its welcome: chronic back and neck pain, sciatica discomfort, old injuries that flare, frozen-shoulder patterns, and the slow damage of a desk. Expect homework — small stretches or habit changes that protect the progress you paid for. And expect honesty: if your case needs a physician or a physical therapist more than it needs us, we'll say so at the first assessment.
Every session includes
- A movement assessment before the table — where it hurts, and what feeds it
- Targeted orthopedic, trigger point, and myoskeletal techniques as your case needs
- A re-test at the end, so you can feel the difference rather than take our word
- Homework that keeps the progress between sessions
- A straight answer about whether we're the right tool for your pain
What to expect
Assess
A few minutes of questions and movement checks. Where it hurts is the clue; how you move is usually the cause.
Work the plan
Focused, sometimes intense work on the structures feeding your complaint — with pressure you control at every step.
Re-test & homework
The movement from step one, tried again. Then the two or three small things to do at home that make session two start further ahead.
Made for
The back that's "just like that now." The neck that crunches on one side. Sciatica discomfort that runs down one leg on long drives. Athletes with an injury history, desk workers with a posture debt, and anyone who has been politely enduring pain because nothing else quite fit. Guests managing nerve symptoms often pair this with our neuropathy program.
Medical massage is complementary care — it supports treatment from your physician or physical therapist and never replaces diagnosis. New, severe, or worsening pain belongs in front of a doctor first. Tell us about diagnoses, surgeries, and medications when you book.
Medical massage questions
Intent and structure. Deep tissue works chronic tension wherever it lives; medical massage starts from a specific complaint — sciatica discomfort, a shoulder that won't lift, back pain with a history — assesses how you move, and works a plan against that complaint across sessions. It borrows from orthopedic massage, trigger point therapy, and myoskeletal alignment as your case needs.
A technique that treats pain as a posture-and-pattern problem rather than a single sore spot — working the muscle and fascia relationships that pull the skeleton out of easy alignment (the forward head, the rotated hip, the desk-rounded shoulders). It's one of the core methods our therapists draw on in medical sessions.
The five minutes go to assessment and re-testing — checking a movement at the start, working, then checking it again so both of you can tell whether the session moved the needle. We'd rather show you a before-and-after than promise one.
No referral needed. If you already have a diagnosis, imaging, or a physical therapy program, tell us — we work alongside it, not instead of it. If pain is new, severe, or getting worse, see your physician first; massage is the wrong first stop for an undiagnosed problem.
Most guests feel meaningful change within one to three sessions, and we'll tell you honestly if we're not the right tool for your case. Long-standing patterns take maintenance — that's what the membership makes affordable, and members book medical-length therapeutic sessions at reduced rates.
We don't bill insurance directly. Many guests use HSA/FSA funds where their plan allows massage for a documented condition — check with your administrator, and we're happy to provide receipts.
