Your first visit, explained plainly

Nobody should feel uncertain walking into a spa. Here’s exactly what happens, what you’ll be asked, and what you’re never obliged to do.

How the hour actually goes

The same shape at both spas, whichever treatment you’ve booked.

Book & mention anything relevant

Online in under a minute, or call us. Flag pregnancy, injuries, medication or areas to avoid — it shapes what’s safe.

Arrive ten minutes early

Short health form, restroom, and a moment to stop rushing. Free parking at the door at both locations.

The conversation before

Your therapist asks about pressure, problem areas and what you want from the hour. Two minutes, and it changes everything.

Afterward

Water, a slow re-entry into the day, and honest aftercare advice. No sales pitch at the desk.

A prepared treatment room at High Stone Wholistic Wellness

You are in charge of the whole thing

You undress to your own comfort level and you are draped with a sheet throughout — only the area being worked on is ever uncovered, and your therapist leaves the room while you get on the table.

You can ask for lighter pressure, more time on your shoulders, less on your feet, the music down, or the conversation to stop. None of it is awkward and none of it is unusual. The best sessions are the ones where guests say what they want.

  • Professionally draped for the entire treatment
  • Pressure adjusted the moment you ask
  • Any area can be left alone, no reason needed
  • No upselling at the desk afterward

Book by outcome, not by name

The menu can be overwhelming on a first visit. Here’s the shortcut we give people on the phone.

First-visit questions

Undress to whatever level you're comfortable with — many guests keep underwear on, some don't, and either is completely normal. You're under a sheet the entire time and only the area being worked on is uncovered. For salt therapy, sauna and cryotherapy you stay dressed.

Ten minutes before your first appointment is plenty. It gives you time to fill out a short health form, use the restroom, and actually settle rather than starting the massage with your heart still racing from the drive.

Not at all. Some guests chat the whole way through, most go quiet after a few minutes, and plenty fall asleep — none of it offends your therapist. The only talking that matters is telling us if the pressure needs changing.

Say so, immediately. It genuinely helps us — "a bit lighter there" or "you can go deeper" is the most useful thing you can offer. Nobody is offended, and suffering through a massage you don't enjoy defeats the entire purpose.

Tipping is appreciated but never expected, and it makes no difference to the care you receive. If you'd like to, cash or card at the front desk both work.

Let us know as far ahead as you can on (972) 539-1388 — it lets us offer the slot to someone else. Call us directly rather than emailing if it's same-day.

Yes — pregnancy, recent surgery or injury, blood thinners, high blood pressure, neuropathy, allergies, and any area you'd rather we avoided entirely. None of it is nosy; it changes which techniques are safe for you.
